This week we have been practising our songs ready for the Camerata performance next Monday. We have also been exploring responses to various first aid scenarios with Ms Lambert.

Maths lessons have seen us continue our work with fractions, while the work is getting more complex we are continuing to approach it with our usual positive attitudes and determination.
English lessons have continued our look at the story of Beowulf and Grendel and we have written some fantastic descriptive sentences about how we think Grendel’s lair looks. We were also newspaper reporters and eye witnesses reporting on an attack by Grendel on Heorot.

We explored the Viking invasion at Lindisfarne this week and wrote reports for an Anglo-Saxon newspaper about the destruction caused at the monastery.

Tag rugby was a big hit in PE, and all of us had lots of fun practising specific skills as well as playing some short games.
