Shiver me timbers! Ship Ahoy! We be pirates this week, so watch out! We be looking for treasure.
This week we have been learning about Pirates. We have done some lovely writing about what the pirates could see through their telescope. The children have made maps and drawn an X to mark the spot! The nursery children have walked the plank and thrown water canons!
In maths the children have been doubling numbers and have played number bingo to help recognise numbers above 10.
In PHSE, the children have been taught about sun safety.
This afternoon we are making parrots, using cutting skills and hand prints. Our room could get a bit noisy with so many birds!
In music, we sang lots of songs about pirates and learnt how to draw crotchets.
We are looking forward to dressing up as pirates on Monday and collecting booty!
