This week, in Class 3, we have been exploring the features of newspaper articles and identified the 5 w’s (who, where, when, what and why). In Maths, Year 3 have been finding equal groups and used arrays to represent multiplication sentences whilst Year 4 have been multiplying and dividing numbers by 1 and 0. In RE, we have been learning about Diwali. We enjoyed making diva lamps out of clay and colouring Rangoli patterns. In Science, we have been learning about different types of volcanoes and really enjoyed making volcanic eruptions using washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and red food colouring. A great week, well done Class 3!
