Image of Autumn Term 2 - Week 6

This week, in Class 3, we have written a newspaper report about the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull. We tried our best to include informative sentences but did find it tricky to maintain the correct tense throughout. In Maths, Year 3 have been multiplying and dividing numbers by 3 whilst Year 4 have been finding factors pairs and multiplying by 10. In Science, we have been exploring different forces such as push and pull. We carried out an investigation to discover which surfaces cause the most friction and we used a newton meter to test the force. After this, we sorted objects into magnetic and non-magnetic after making scientific predictions. Well done Class 3!
