Class 1 summer 1 Week 3 2025
This week the children have been learning about pets and what pets need to flourish. Today the reception children wrote all about their pet. We have really focused on remembering capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.
The children have enjoyed making and painting dogs and cats. They have really enjoyed taking their pretend pet to the vets and tomorrow they will take their pets through an agility course!
In maths, reception have focused on 3D shapes and have explored their properties. They have used play dough and paint to make prints, exploring making 2D shapes.
In music the children enjoyed listening to music about animals. Their pretend pets joined in with songs about pets!
In PSED we talked about keeping safe in the sun!
