2025 A2 Week 3

Autumn 2 is well underway with plenty of exciting topics being covered every day. This week saw the final lessons of our first fraction unit (which involved adding and subtracting using mixed numbers). In English, we have been writing diary entries from the persepctive of Otto Frank and doing some questioning of his decisions and actions during the Second World War. 

In PE, we have been developing our shooting in netball and passing in basketball. In History we have made an excellent job of creating timelines relating to the war. Using chronological skills and being analytical, we have focused on what we consider the most vital events that had the greatest impact. 

With our voices inspired, we have been practicing the songs for Young Voices 2025 in music. In Our space topic for science, we have moved on from learning about the relative sizes and order of the planets to the relative disatnces away from the sun. Many were amazed at the distance between Earth and Neptune.
