Borth is well underway and it is hot! We have arrived safely and have had a lovely meal cooked by our hosts. On the way, we stopped at King Arthur’s Labrynth and enjoyed sailing through the waterfall into a magical cave filled with tales of Welsh legends. We travelled through the maze and uncovered answers to the riddles within. After getting settled in our dorms, we had pasta and garlic bread. Then, we enjoyed the sand dunes and played cricket by the river mouth. Everyone is very much looking forward to an exciting day tomorrow so let’s hope for a good nights rest. Our second day was an absolute scorcher! The day began with a magnificent breakfast with more options than anyone could hope for. Before long, we went to the beach and took part in all the usual seaside activities. After lunch, we went to the local town and enjoyed the arcade. When we had finished with the games, we walked along the coast to an ice cream shop with incredible choices. Free play in the hostels games room and communal areas was soon followed by a dinner of jacket potatos, beans and cheese. Afterwards, we walked along Borth’s coast and up to monument for an unforgettable view of the sun setting (and a great photo opportunity).
