What a delightful day we had with Class 2 as they celebrated the culmination of their Design and Technology project on healthy picnics! After weeks of learning about nutritious food choices and designing their ideal healthy packed lunches, the big day finally arrived. The children enthusiastically brought their carefully prepared packed lunches to school, brimming with excitement. Then, with the wonderful support of many parents and grandparents, we all made the short journey to the village hall. Laughter and chatter filled the air as everyone enjoyed their well-deserved meals. But the fun didn't stop there! After fuelling up, it was off to the park for some well-deserved playtime. The children had a truly great afternoon, running, swinging, and sliding, burning off all that healthy energy. A huge, heartfelt thank you to all the parents and grandparents who gave up their time to help us. Your support was invaluable in making this such a successful and memorable day for Class 2.
