Class 1 spring 2 Week 5 2026

We have really enjoyed making our Easter hats for our parade in church next week. We have also learned about Good Friday and tasted Hot-cross buns!
We had a very special visit from Mrs Gethin and Ralph. We ‘re looking forward to doing some follow up work about not being selfish and the importance of sharing with our family and friends.

In maths, we talked about measuring time. We investigated doing different activities to see how long it took to complete them.

In science the children listened to ‘The 3 Little Pigs’. The children experimented to see which objects blow over easily. They then used different materials to see if they could make a strong house.

We have enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and potatoes. We are pleased that we have enabled our sunflower seeds to flourish. Please send photographs in should your sunflower bloom in the summer!
