In Class 1 this week we have been learning about healthy eating. The children have been talking about eating a rainbow diet and sorting foods into food groups.
In maths the children have explored number 1 to 3, subitising and looking at the composition of these numbers. They have also enjoyed exploring weight using associated vocabulary.
In Monster Phonics, preschool have explored instrumental sounds and have enjoyed playing their instruments loudly and quietly, quickly and slowly.
Reception have learnt the phonemes h and b.
Our topic this week and next week is also ‘People who help us’. The children have been learning about Firefighters and have learnt about what fire needs to burn.
In EAD, the children studied the artist Acrimboldo. They made some fantastic portraits made out of fruit and vegetables.
