Class 3 has had a fantastic week packed with hands-on learning across the curriculum. In maths, we kicked off our new topic on addition and subtraction, while also recapping Roman Numerals through an exciting game of bingo. For spellings, the children put their vocabulary to the test using Scrabble tiles before writing, editing, and publishing original stories inspired by our class book, The Egyptian Cinderella. Science truly came to life as we explored ultraviolet radiation using UV beads to observe reactions in real time, investigating which materials work best to protect our eyes from the sun. In RE, we examined how covenants relate to Christian weddings and pondered the promises Christians might make in their everyday lives, while over in PE, everyone put in great effort during dynamic activities aimed at boosting our muscular endurance.
