Class 1 autumn 2 week 6 2025

We hope you and your children enjoyed the Nativity Play. They did so well and we are very proud of them.

The children enjoyed making Christingle candles and we talked about what they represent.

We hope you enjoyed the Christigle service in church today. The children did very well to sit for what was a longer service than usual.

This week, in addition to the Christmas festivities, we have managed to continue with Monster Phonics. The reception children have learned the phonemes y,z and qu this week. 
I have enjoyed exploring segmenting with the preschool children as well as doing some dough disco and drawing to improve their fine motor skills. We have also been dancing with scarves to improve gross motor skills and help with direction and coordination.

We are loooking forward to a next week which will be filled with Christmas craft, Christmas dinner and our Christmas party.
